Part-time Fashion Photographer

We are starting a new online business in woman’s clothing and looking for someone who is passionate about fashion photography. This position is permanent on a part-time basis 3 days a week approximately 30 hours in London. This is a new start-up and we will be selling casual woman’s clothing for the age bracket of 16 to 35 ages as our target market. We are looking for someone who can set up a studio in-house and have experience in fashion photography. Ideal candidate that we prefer to be a female photographer as this is a woman’s product; we feel that female photographer could give us a better product. However anyone is welcome to apply, with a great portfolio of work and experience in the fashion photography industry. Your responsibilities will include: • Produce high quality photographs and have experience in fashion photography. • Key requirement that you will work with marketing and graphic designers to come up with unique concepts and ideas for the photography to go on the website and marketing materials. • You will be the only person managing the studio and the equipment. (Equipment is not required, as we will provide everything in-house.) • Organise and find the appropriate models on agency’s website and booked them in for photo shoot. Requirements • Experience in fashion photography or student just left university has a good portfolio of fashion photography. • You have to be passion about photography and have a great portfolio of fashion photography. Such as studio photography, location and others artistic work in the fashion industry. • Excellent computer skills on Mac/Pc. • Good working knowledge of Photography & Photo Editing (photoshop) software to do, retouching, enhancing the image and optimising the images for the web. • Eye for detail. • Confident with excellent communication skills. • Smart and well presented. • Punctual and highly organized. • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workload. • Able to work independently as well as part of a greater team.
