I need 54 images edited for this project.
If I am satisfied, there is a good chance I would want you to edit 50 to 400 images per month. This current project is 54 images.
I don’t necessarily want perfect photos. I want to keep the cost as low as possible and the quality pretty good, but not perfect.
DETAILS:===============================
These are product images of a model wearing different clothes. There are 21 different products. Most products have 2 or 3 images, and a few have 4 images. There are 54 images total.
Original Images: 54 jpgs, about 2 or 3 MB each.
EXAMPLES:=============================
Finished examples are attached. Check these examples to get a good understanding of everything I mention below, including the touch up quality I expect and the crops sizes. Also compare the finished examples to the original photos to see how much I want the skin lightened. This will all be explained in more detail in the next paragraphs.
I reduced the size and quality of the original and full resolution images in the examples. I did that for faster download. The images we will work with in the future will be higher quality and size.
TOUCH UP:=============================
Background (BG): The BG needs to be pure white. It is pure white in the original images already, but it is a bit darker around the feet. That needs to be white. The gray areas are small, so it will be quick work. Sometimes, the darker shadows touching the feet can stay (check the examples).
Touch up: General touch up including sharpening, levels adjustments. Also, color enhancement and spot healing when necessary (check the examples).
Lighten Skin: The model in this shoot has pretty dark skin. I need it lightened (check the examples).
SAVING AND CROPPING:=================
Most products have 2 to 3 images. So each product has img-1, img-2, and some have img-3.
Save a jpeg of each finished img-1, img-2, img-3 at full resolution, 100 quality, optimized, not progressive, no ICC.
(The following need 70 quality, optimized, progressive, no ICC)
Two closer, square crops of img1 at 640px and 120px.
Combine closer crops of img-1, img-2 and img-3 into one or two 640px by 400px jpeg.
FILE NAMING:===========================
The files need to be saved with specific naming. This is easy. Basically, it just involves changing the last few letter of the original file. This will be explained later.
METHOD:==============================
I am not a Photoshop pro and don’t know what method you would use to remove the gray around the feet. It takes me less than a minute with the action/macro I recorded in PS3. It may not be the best way to do it, but it works with these photos and it’s fast. If it takes you longer than a minute, that is too long and your probably doing too it too perfectly. If that is the case, I would want you to use my method to speed up the work flow.
If you record Photoshop actions for this, save them in case we work together again in the future.
TIME:==================================
I would like the project complete within 1 or 2 days; however, I will consider bids for 3 to 5 days.
======================
Remember, low cost is the priority. Based on the amount of time it takes me to edit these images, I would expect to pay pretty close to the minimum of the budget range. Check the attached examples. I would like the same or better quality as the examples. That means pure white background, lighter skin and good quality touch ups, but they don’t need to be perfect.
I'm very interested on working on this project. I'm a graphic artist/ designer with professional experience in doing photo editing, retouching and background removal for a magazine/publishing client for 3 yrs. This can easily be done, so check PMB for details on my bid. Looking forward to hearing from you soon and good day.
