I'm looking for something that will emulate Linkwit ( [url removed, login to view] ), but that can work from a flat text file instead of requiring a MySQL database. I have part of it done but need help with the rest. The goal is to end up with the following: 1. Website owner pastes a list of site URLs (other sites owned by same person) into a form on a web page. 2. Program crawls the sites (or the sitemap page can be specified in step one and the URLs can come from there). 3. A random subset of links from each site is added to an ascii file on this server. Number of links per site can be selected in browser interface. Default might be 50 or so links per site. I have a possible idea on how to select the pages. 4. Format of each entry in ascii file would be a full html link (a href="http://...etc.) to a specific page, with the anchor text being the page name with spaces replacing dashes or underscores. For example [url removed, login to view] would be the link and "page name" would be the anchor text. 5. Ability to append new sites to existing list via browser interface and perhaps the ability to remove items via browser as well. Also a link to the ascii file in order to see currently listed site pages. 6. Completion page would include the PHP code to insert into pages where the rotating links are to appear that could be copied and pasted. 7. User/pass access to the tool is desirable. I don't think this is terribly complicated, I just don't know enough about PHP to code it myself. I do already have the randomizer/link display portion of the code that grabs random links from an ascii file. I can supply the code described above and an example ascii file. Where I really need the work done is on the spidering and browser interface portions. Thanks.
