asp.net advanced web calendar

Hi Coders I need a web based application written ASP.net / VB.NET which uses an MS SQL 2000 backend. It will be running on Server 2003 with IIS 6 and .NET 1.1. I would prefer the app to be n-tiered in design with three layers. DataAccess, Business Rules and Front End. If this will delay development time then im not too bothered about it. The app needs to emulate the Calendar functionality found in MS Outlook. An important feature of this application is that it must allow "Outlook appointments" to be attached to emails and sent from the web app to a given users email address, when opened the user will be presented with option of adding the appointment to their local version outlook. The Web App will be installed on an intranet without MS Exchange. There are several other business requirements. I can provide additional information upon request. I also want the ability when making a reservation, to have a hyperlink for each room that opens another window with the list of amenities listed in number 1 above. I would like this to be able to be done manually or if we want to set some type of trigger like delete any reservation older than 90 days. 11. Three user levels for security Any user - can make reservations and view reservations (Cannot reserve training rooms) Training admin ??" Can reserve training rooms and modify any training room reservations Master user- Can edit/delete existing reservations except the training rooms. Admin ??" full rights, and can also add new rooms, locations etc. User views site and can look at rooms by location, Room, Date . Ideally they have a welcome page that maybe says what are you looking for with a form where they can choose location, date, time, number of attendees, and possible check boxes for Lan, Projector, PC’s etc. Then search will reveal rooms available. The user then can click on a room and fill out reservation form.. Or.. they can look at a ca lendar type view by day, week, location etc, and browse rooms and availability. If a room is a “Training?? category a login is required to reserve it. If the user want one of those room they will fill out a from that is emailed to an Training admini user to make the reservation for them. Any edits or deletions of reservations have to be done by Master user. When a user reserves a room they will get an email with confirmation info. That email will include and auto created reservation ID.
