I want to limit using of ASP.NET application per one web server.
I don't know what is the best way to do that.
I think it is looking for IP address of web server and checking is it licensed for that IP.
But, the problem is, many web servers has more than one IP address, so how to handle that?
Is there maybe some "root" unique web server IP address that I could check and how to find it?
How to solve this problem?
I need a function written in VB.NET or C# that I can use in ASP.NET application for this type of licensing. That function should find an IP address (or something else, you are free to suggest a better solution) and "recognize" does ASP.NET applications runs on licensed machine.
