Thanks for looking at my bid.
I have a friend :-) , really I do! He is a retired gentleman who takes photographs of weddings and I would like to bless him with a program that could assist him.
This is what he does manually:-
Once he has loaded all the photgraphs onto his computer he then invites the couple to his house to view the photographs on his computer. The couple then write down on a piece of paper the file name and the size of the print they would like. At no time during this exercise is the couple aware of the costs or how many photos they have ordered. For example he, my friend, would charge a fixed figure which would include 200 6x4 prints, normally what would happen they would end up ordering more than 200 prints, plus different sizes.
So this is what I am looking for.
A standalone program (this could develop into a web based program in the future), that would show the photos full screen and would have a small floating window that would enable the couple to select for printing, quantity and what size. The floating window would also show how many photos they have ordered as well as the ongoing cost if any. Once the ordering session is finished there must be the ability to print out the order that would have the couples name and a list of their order.
In order for the above to work, there must be an admin area where the following can be entered and storeed.
Price per size
The couples name.
The package deal i.e. 200 6x8, so only when they order the 201st photo would there be a charge.
and anything else you could think of.
