Create a small program that inputs two points, upper left and lower right, and calculates a unique value that represents the pixel layout on the screen in that area. There needs to be two buttons, "Black" and "All" When "black" is pressed the program should find all the black pixels in the specified area of the screen and calculate a value based on layout of the black pixels only. Program should return a number and print it on the gui. Number must be Unique for all layouts of black pixels; no two layouts should return the same number. The position of the area on the screen should not affect the return value. The difficulty in this program is coming up with a good algorithm for coming up with this unique number. For example, if you have two black pixels with one space between them in the horizontal direction, they should return a different number than 2 black pixels 1 pixel apart in the vertical direction. When "All" is pressed the program should find a number based on all the pixels in the area. For this option the program should not use the actual colors of the pixels in the algorithm. For example, program should return the same value if you had two adjacent red, white, black, green pixels. The algorithm should be calculated based on differences in colors. So if you have a red pixel next to a blue pixel horizontally. A orange pixel next to a pink pixel should return the same value. Algorithm should look at the differences in the pixel layout not the colors themselves. (Hard to explain) program logic should be, "there is a pixel with one color and next to it is a pixel with a different color". If two pixels are next to each other horizontally it will return a different result than vertically. The position of the area on the screen should not affect the return value. Program needs to have a second gui. This second gui will be just a blank square. Program should have a button called "Show" Clicking on "Show" should move the second gui to the specified coordinates and resize to fit the area specified by the input. Program should be as fast as possible. 100x100 area in less than a second. Speed is almost as important as the algorithm. Program must be written in Visual C++ 6.0 Program should use the least amount of functions possible. Thinking under 5. The function/functions should be easily moved to another program. Documentation should explain how to use/move the functions in another application.
