**Scope of Work Document
Project: Outlook Calendar Sync**
**Summary**:
Develop contact and calendar synchronization capabilities between our application and Outlook 2003.
We have an existing application with contact management and calendar functionality. We wish to integrate this with Outlook. The specifications of the project are as such:
* The program will run with a command-line parameter that passes an XML file name and path. Something like
**C:> [login to view URL] [“SourceFile?? [“ResultFile??]]**
* The program should read the source file, process the synchronization, and then write the result file to be used by our application.
* The program should do two-way synchronization. It will not do merging or data, but will have to handle changes from either side (Outlook or our application) and give the user the option to Overwrite Changes in Outlook or Do Not Synchronize Conflicting records.
* Each record (calendar or contact) will have a unique integer ID (key) field to facilitate synchronizing.
* New contacts and calendar records in Outlook should be synchronized back to our application.
* Options for synchronization are included in the attached documentation.
* The program should automatically close when it is done.
* I am open to alternate ways of structuring either the source or destination file, or of determining which record has been most recently updated.

My apologies for the tardy response to your questions. I have been consumed by another project and haven't been able to give this project proper attention. I am also clarifying the scope and providing more underlying details. Thank you for your proposals and patience.
