How is it possible to make Internet Explorer show sites without sideways scrolling?

How Can I make other peoples websites (not my own site at all - just sites that I visit some times) so that I do not have to scroll "side ways" (from side to side) in order to see the full page? (I do understand that I need to scroll up/down and that is ok. What bothers me is that some sites require me to scroll from side to side (left to right).

I use internet explorer 7.

If there is a solution somehow to this issue then kindly let me know (preferably somethign that can be tweaked in IE7 settings).

My screen resolution is a normal 14" laptop screen at 1280x800

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
