We am looking for some help to build a small work flow engine designed to help us manage pictures txt and video to be displayed onto a screen at live events. The Software need not necessarily be designed in flash, java or someother technology could be used instead.
The content will typically be fed into the application via XML. The output should be into an IE 5 or later browser. The onsite engineers will overlay the content in the browser over content already being displayed. For this reason the browser will typically have a black or blue background that can be keyed out as it is sent to the screen. We are looking for an application that will allow us to use 3 or 4 templates, these will ingest txt picture or video files and out put them to the screen in some type of loop. Each loop will ingest the files passed to it via XML.
Again we are not sure of the best technology to manage this and some advice will certainly be welcomed.
