This project requires solid flash (or appropriate flash generator) & XML skills & time to devote to the project. I need an interactive timeline that will be populated with XML data. There is an example of the XML that will be used attached to this description.
I scanned a family’s mementos, pictures, audio clips, & video & I need them entered in a time line which is web accessible & can be copied to a DVD or cd to play on the computer. I have about 2000 pictures, about 22 video clips & 22 audio clips that I will want to be able to play in an embedded player of the timeline. I want to be able to scroll along the time line with a slider and stop at an event title, thumbnail or link, click it & have a text box, picture w/ caption, video clip or audio file to open and play in a separate box on the timeline. There are several pictures for each event so an embedded scrolling picture bar or slideshow opening up in the window would be helpful. I have compiled several examples of Flash timelines along with some tutorials of how to make them to give you ideas. (Please see the attached Full Description of Timeline Project for the examples)

Windows XP and viewable with Inernet explorer and played form a DVD or cd from the computer. If we could make it work from a regular DVD player attached to a TV that would be GReat but not required.
