I have created a Freeski-Web-Community-Portal ([login to view URL]) with postnuke-CMS. It still runs on postnuke 0.7.2.6-Phoenix (not the actual version).
I now would like to change this whole Website (DB) from the (old) postnuke-CMS to the newest Joomla-CMS (1.0.8).
Following contents should be transferred to Joomla-CMS (it is supposed to work properly):
• users (including user names, passwords)
• News articles (they should be split into 4 categories, when realisable with little effort - if work is too complex, put them all in one archive)
• Forum (from pnForum to Joomlaboard Forum Component (more complex?!))
• Link list (Structure, clickable URLs and matching descriptions)
If realisable with little input following contents should be changed too:
• polls
• comments
• pm's
Info: I have found a script (written in pearl) another webmaster has once used with success (see attachment) Perhapes it can be a help for you?
I can forward you a backup of my actual postnuke-DB. Further I can arrange access to a test-server including installed Joomla-CMS.
Deadline: within 2 weeks (mid June)
Maybe you have already done a project like this you could show me as a reference.
Thank you!
