This project is for a personal website, which will incorporate a CMS system (Joomla or similar), a Photo Gallery, Blog etc.? I prefer an open source collection of software, however, it is essential they link together seamlessly.
Integration is also required with a couple of other pieces of software for the displaying of Weather data retrieved from my own weather station.
## Deliverables
Deliverables for the project:
1) Create a personal website, which is based on a Content Management System (CMS)
2) Integrate Photo Gallery
3) Integrate Blog.? The blog must be able to be updated using an iPhone i.e like Wordpress.? You must be logged in to be able to post comments etc.? Requests for account must be approved by the Administrators
4) The Gallery must autogenerate thumbnails for displaying on the site, when you click on the image, you will get a larger version, and if you click on download - you get the original file, at whatever size that is.? Comments can be added to each picture, but again, only from authorised users, that are logged in.
5) I use a Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station at home, the data is collected using this software:
The output of this software must be configured so that it seamlessly integrates into the look and feel of the site.? All of the data is store in SQLite3, and transfered to MySQL, so you can pull the data directly from there if required.
Some example sites are:
I want this site to look far better, with smoother graphs / font's / dials etc.? More details of this can be discussed via Chat with the preferred bidder, but essentially all of the features shown on this site must be enabled, however not in the same format.? I.e. the dials may be shown on a different page to the other info etc. etc.
6) I also have other images which will be sent to the server via FTP, these files will always have a predictable name (i.e. [login to view URL]) as an example.? The website must automatically display these on the website within their relevant section.? I.e. the latest timed image will always be shown at the top, and as each new image is added - the rest move down the page, and when it reaches a certain number, the oldest then gets moved into an archive?
7) The blog system must support pings, and tracebacks etc.
