54179 Website creation / Redesign

This project is for a re-design of our current web site, www.my-eCourse.com. This site is currently active and owned exclusively by us, the project creator. This project will give the “highest” preference to providers who already have created an Online School and Administration System. There would only be modifications and design, and graphic work to our site. Our re-design of the site will include a new CMS, Classroom, Logo, Text, Art, Graphics, Links, Admin, Student, OS Commerce and Teacher functionality. The current content on the site would move over to the new site. If you have a better application to use for our site, please PMB, and demonstrate, if not, then New site specifications would be to use [login to view URL] (or show examples of your previous work with other online learning CMS) or similar CMS for the site. ATutor is a “free” open source Learning CMS. You will need to download the ACollab, AChat, AChecker, AForm, ATalk (these are add-on's, at [login to view URL]) to replace the Moodle (classroom) portion of the current web site. The site will need all aspects for online learning. Current site is using XOOPS and MOODLE for the CMS of the site. We are looking at merging both ATutor and Mambo together to form the site CMS. Again, Mambo as we all know here in Script land, is another free open source CMS located at www.mamboserver.com. You can find out more about integration of both Mambo and ATutor at the [login to view URL] web site. The current site has only 2 students and 1 teacher using at this time. So site will needed to be re-designed offline and moved and uploaded to a new host/server. We will provide all current passwords and login's for the current site, to get in a look at all “current:” files, graphics, links, etc, etc. We will also forward all information passwords and login information for our host server for re-designed site. Site currently uses 2 CMS's, XOOPS and Moodle. Moodle handles the Classrooms link on the home page of the [login to view URL] web site. XOOPS is the overall CMS. Moodle also handles the course listings, along with Teachers Bio, and Course information. This will all need to transfer over to the “new” CMS. Need the new-redesigned site to have RSS, ATOM, feeds for syndication. This is where Mambo comes into play, with built in Blogs and other CMS features to replace XOOPS. We will need a ecommerce section for our “Bookstore” section of the web site, OS Commerce or some inexpensive way to process the Books for the classes, that may need purchased. Design and Logo and new graphics for the site should be continual through out the entire new redesigned web site and throughout all modules, Mambo, ATutor, OS Commerce and sub modules of each CMS. Example of what site should look like is [login to view URL], not clone but design and layout. But with variation in color looks and function. We are not re-inventing the wheel here. We are just re-designing the current site [login to view URL], and adding 2 new CMS modules to the site. Site will stay the same as far as current content, classrooms, teachers etc, so all current content on the site will transfer over to the right areas. You will transfer all current content information to the new modules.
