Design our website on Squarespace

This job is being posted by Trade Ally International, LLC. This is a US-based company which deals with international trading between importers and exporters. This job is for a web designer who will make the company website for Trade Ally International. We do not require the website to be made from scratch, meaning no extensive web development required. The reason is that we have opted to use "Squarespace" and all its resources. This eliminates the need to have the website made from scratch. We need an experienced web designer who has completed successful projects before. We have the website content and the basic layout of the website ready. We need the experience and expertise of a web designer to put the basic layout and content that we have into the shape of a beautiful and workable website which is a delight for people to use. For starters, we will award this job only to that freelancer who will agree to make a sample home page template for us for free and whose template we will like and approve. This is because we need to see what we will get once we hire the freelancer. We do not require the complete template to be made because we understand that the freelancer's time is precious, therefore we only require that a decent-sized template be made on Squarespace which gives us a good idea of how the website will be designed if that particular freelancer is hired. The content for this sample template is attached with this job posting. Also, the freelancer will need to make their own free account on Squarespace in order to make the template. Finally, keep in mind that the freelancer who is given this job will be asked to teach one of our staff members how to use the website that they create on Squarespace as well as how to add and modify web pages. This is because the nature of the website is that such tasks will need to be done quite often, and it is our desire to have a staff member do these web-related tasks rather than hire a web designer every time the website needs to be updated. This is also a reason why we opted for using Squarespace rather than have a website developed from scratch, because Squarespace can be used without knowing any programming language. Attachment: Kindly note that this template is just for letting you know the general layout that we require. The colors, background, fonts etc can all be modified. We leave the designing part to the freelancer.
