Job Description: PHP and MYSQL WEB DEVELOPER (project 1 of 3) This is the first of a 3 parts project. Obviously if we are happy with your work with the first part you have priority on the second and so on. About the Job: As a software developer, you will develop our novel web application. You will contribute to all stages of development, programming and testing to bug fixes. You'll use a variety of technologies, including PHP, MySQL, Javascript/AJAX, FTP, CSV and as optional Excel file import/export. Main job focus: User friendly smooth datafeed (CSV) and manual (single item) upload. Search results: short time/perfect relevance to query. QUALIFICATIONS: (need strengths/ years and level of experience and any samples of work) * Knowledge of HTML (hand-coding), JavaScript, AJAX, some Bash/shell scripting. * Very Strong knowledge of LAMP, MySQL database, PHP, AJAX. * Excellent ability in writing self-documenting code * Test-oriented engineer: You know how to write software with automated testing in mind from day one. * Experience with MySQL database server configuration and maintenance. * Expert knowledge with Linux, and Apache. * Excellent communications and organizational skills. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred. * Able to communicate well with all levels of people. * Three or more years experience or strong project portfolio in Web PHP MySQL Database development is required. Our ideal candidate is someone with a portfolio with price comparison websites and strong knowledge of datafeed collection. Expected final job result for first milestone: Documented (we need to understand what you did); graphic design (minimal. Presentation design is main reference but we are looking for an experience graphic design to help for details); Tested; 100% Bugs free. As attached you can see the presentation with details in notes. We are considering doing this in yii but we are open to also to codeigniter or any other framework. Thanks
