Creating Software Specifications

I need someone with experience in creating software specification docs. I need to put together a bidding spec for an application we want developed. I need someone who understands the requirements of documenting specific functionality and have a good understanding of Windows programming. Someone who can translate our requirements to documents that software developers will understand and can follow. As developers we could write the specifications ourselves. However we do not have the time to do so. So I need someone who is a self starter and can work independently for the most part. We will provide any information required but in a quick and dirty fashion. So please if you cannot work in this fashion please do not bid on the project. The program we are looking to create is a macro script tool for Windows platforms. There are several good examples of the program out there. One in particular is GroundControl [[login to view URL]][1]. In fact for the most part I want to create the functionality of this application. So I see using the help file from this application as a good starting point. We also want to add some new functionality that we need. This project would need to be done as quickly as possible so please indicate the time frame you require as part of the bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Document format Word or rtf
