We are currently using DotNetnuke 3.2 in with Microsoft.NET 1.1. We have approximately 40-60 custom DNN modules that we have developed internally. All of which are pretty small and straight forward. We have begun the initial conversion to DNN 4.x on the DNN 4.x / Microsoft.NET 2.0 runtimes, however, we have decided to outsource the rest of the conversion process.
In most cases, conversion entails copying and pasting the code over with a little "refactoring" to fit into the new paradigm. We use a few third party controls, and estimate a 2-3 week project for someone full time to complete the conversion. All custom modules are written in csharp.
