We have a current website which we need transformed into Joomla. Site should validate with CSS, XHTML and all other webstandards. Content is already added on demo server so job is only to convert existing website into a Joomla template. Due to confidentiality will we not disclose the website here. Send message for information about the website so you can evaluate properly. All information, images, logo and so on will be provided and you will get ftp access to work online in the demo environment. Need a very reliable programmer/designer who can get this done quickly, efficiently and with an eye for detail.
## Deliverables
The current website is built with flash but I have all content added to the site, so not to worry about the content in any way.
You need to secure that the template validates and follows all web standards, according to w3c.
Website should also be fully xhtml compliant. Template should be compatible with Joomla 1.0x.
All CSS should be well documented and it should be made easy to make changes to colour and styling of every aspect of the site. This means we would like to style as much as possible with CSS and use as little images as possible in regards to the layout.
Your inputs as to how to improve on the design and how the site could be made better would be highly valued ( please comment this prior to bidding as I need this sorted before you can start working )
Site should be created with 2 different options in regards to width. "Normal" 800 width and "Wide" which should be 1000 pixels.
Site needs the following modules positions: - Right, left, banner, user 1, user 2, user 3, user 4, user 5, main content, footer, newsletter, special 1, special 2, special 3. Winning bidder will be provided with the layout of where the modules would be "located".
Module class suffix should be 3 different styles ( basically just 3 different colour sets. )
Website has clear guidelines in regards to usage of colour and logo and so on. ( this guideline document will be provided to the winning bidder )
Colours on the website today is making it hard to read the content. You should make this more easy to read by either changing the background colour to something suitable or by making other adjustments to make it more visible. However, as mentioned, you need to follow the guidelines in the document in regards to usage of colours.
The project is relatively simple. It is well documented and all information is available as of right now. Coders who comment and make suggestions as to how they would improve the site would naturally be more interesting.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
