I would like some simple instructions / training on how to create a basic webform linking upto a database. I want to build a simple "contacts" database with the following 2 views: - A list view to see all the records - A detail view; to see the full data record - A edit view; to add / edit data that is inputted. I want the database to be a MySQL (PHPMYAdmin ready to use) And the code of the pages to be standard PHP. This is the List view which I would like to hookup to the Database: [url removed, login to view] This is the Add/Edit view: [url removed, login to view] We would like the instructions on how to build this in PDF or MSWord format. Spelling dosent need to be brillieant. But the 3 views/pages need to work. I have good HTML, CSS knowledge; and have customised Joomla PHP templates; but dont know where to start with recording data. I also have too PHPMyAdmin Skills, i.e. adding new tables, adding new fields. So just need some simple pointers; to record a field to the DB. I plan to use Dreamweaver / notepad. FTP, PHPMyAdmin, and HTML is all ready, and avilable.
