i have a VPN server that connects using obfuscated SSH and bad vpn. i want to block torrents on these servers. i may write some shell script or implement a firewall where ONLY torrents are blocks or cannot start downloading in torrent client, all other apps and web should be working. This is a mobile app, users once connect through our android client.

Hi there, It's not easy to block torrent traffic. Most p2p software change port constantly and even can encrypt packet which make DPI useless. The most effective way is to limit number of concurrent connections, usage of traffic volume, and limit speed. Layer 7 iptable might help in some situation. We also need to consider how to put a firewall between clients and client's destination.
