We would like to build a system to crawl all the signal in this page: ALL Signal Page: [login to view URL] There are 206 pages currently and will have new signal comes in everyday. This is what individual signal page looks like: [login to view URL] The data we need to crawl and store in our database is ALL DATA in the individual signal page. The script needs to run on cron everyday to collect fresh data. This is the first phase of the project. Second phase involves data analyze. Please propose in your bid that which language type is preferred, Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, or etc. If you would like to win this project, create a simple sample that can crawl and store all data in this page. Greetings! I develop crawlers using Javascript running Node.js. I have expirience building web-scrapers that use database, my last one was using RethinkDB. I have a couple of questions though: By storing "all data" do you also mean storing Reviews and info on the left side? Will my program have to log in? The series are mostly .svg images.. Does my script need to store them like images or retrieve table data from them? If you are interested, please respond and I will develop sample scraper which will collect given sample page.
