Build an automated Website for an Association Directory and list of memebers

I am building an approved martial arts register and directory. I want to have a fully automated list that allows me to store and back up data from the back end of the site. Closest thing to my proposed site is a competitor [login to view URL] but this is totally manual. I want to take my grass roots association to the next level.
