Hi. I need a Codeigniter expert that will work according to my guidelines. You need to speak good enough english on skype with voice. If you don't want to or are not comfortable speaking please don't bid as there will be a live interview.

Study it and write me 1 simple observer method $after_update = array('set_last_date');
set_last_date() that updates the last_date field in the table_1 table with the current date for the currently updated row.
Make sure your solution works before submitting it.
The work will be creating the backend using the metronic (themeforest) theme and implementing the frontend (bootstrap theme) with a theme you'll receive so it will only be backend work.
Naturally, a little jquery to do some ajax from time to time.
Only 1 person took the time to read my job description and properly answer the interview question. All the rest copy pasted a generic intro. I WILL NOT CONSIDER YOUR BID UNLESS YOU WRITE THE FUNCtION I ASKED FOR.
The problem I posted for interview was a bit incomplete. Here is the complete version:
I have 2 tables:
Topics: (id (int) -primary key, title(varchar), last_date(datetime),topic_id (foreign key for field id in topics) )
Messages (mid (int) -primary key, title(varchar),description(text).
I want the observer method to be in the Messages_model and update the last_date field in Topics table.
