Hello sir, how are you? hope you are doing great.!! so you have written PHP and mysql in the project title and in the selected skills you have selected nodejs as well. so we can develop RESTFUL Json based api with either of the stack.. 1) php, mysql in backend that accepts json request and response back with json data. 2) nodejs/mongodb in backend that accepts json request and response back with json data. but with php,mysql you can host it on any server, even on shared hosting because you will have plenty of options to host that json web service while with nodejs you will need alleast a VPS so it will incur more cost to you but you will get blazing fast json webservice cause nodejs is nonblocking technology. As far as authentication is concerned we can use JWT tokent based authentication so that you can use the same backend API to connect to any platform either webapp, mobile app, tablet, TV etc etc. we are also looking forward for the never ending business relationship.
