Cannot get the body of email with Gmail PHP API

Ok so i am using Pub/Sub subscription and using Push into an endpoint URL to read email from gmail. It works perfect for short emails but once and email is over maybe 200 characters it only reads first 100 or so characters. Here is the screen shot on my google api console [login to view URL] and here is the code in the receiver file [login to view URL] People on stackoverflow have used methods that seem to work [login to view URL] so looking for somone to implement similar code
