Customizing a PHP/MySql based CRM

Hello,
We had an old CRM which worked wonders, and we did invest a lot of time customizing it. But after a few years we needed it to be responsive and it was too hard and expensive to make that happen.
Since it was too complicated/expensive to make the other system (osTicket) responsive, we took sometime to look for an alternative system (already mobile friendly) that can be worked on.
Luckily this new system called Perfex, has some of the old features such as Contracts, Invoices, Projects, Tasks, Discussions, Tickets, etc. It’s pretty complete. It even logs employee times and calculates payroll... So we don’t have to add all those. They are already built in.
This time we want to incorporate our Block Of Time(BOT) feature into it. BOT is kind of a retainer type of contract, where clients can buy ‘working time’ with our company and it depletes as we work on different stuff for them.
Basically we want this system to track the time (already does) and depletes the time the client bought as we work on different projects.
I’m attaching a Word document I have created (together with the credentials to access this new CRM) that explains what we need. Take a moment to play around with the system and read the document.
This is the first round of changes, I’m sure they will be more feature we are going to work on as we go, such as:
- Ability to send SMS updates to clients
- Ability for clients to reply to tickets or Tasks directly from their email (which you made possible in the old system)
Etc etc That will come after this first round.
We just want to make sure to hire the right candidate. Please take your time reading the Word Document attached.
