Looking for PHP Cron Job scraping solution which can: - Log into a site - Scrape Tables (each table is different, but use simple HTML) -Tables update Monday - Friday around 11:30 EDT and solution should know if the data is new or not using date comparison logic). Example: Friday, November 2, 2018 > Thursday, November 1, 2018 if TRUE then [SCRAPE] ELSE DELAY 60 MIN REPEAT - Store data to MySQL tables (1 MySQL table per data table) - Log out of the site (very important because if the session is not logged out then we cannot log in from another browser) -Config file to set login credentials, MySql connection properties, Frequency, table links, etc - MySql create table SQL files for each table - If a PHP package is needed for data scraping and/or login/out then it should be free and easy to install on Apache. Hi, I would suggest using puppeteer and nodejs for the scraping part, it's an actual browser so we won't encounter issues with the cookies. It will put the content in the db and then you can use php to process it however you want or need to. Thank you, Daniel

Hi, How are you? As per my understanding, this task is doable. But if the targeted website integrate Captcha service on login page then what? Sometime companies track incoming traffic and their referrals links and you want to do this task on daily basic. If they feel you are a BOT, may be they will block your hit. I will suggest you to hit target website randomly, rather than on a specific time daily. Before starting anything, we should have 360 views. Best of luck :)

Understanding: Website screen scraping bot. Previous experience: I have developed the same application for a retailer to compare competitor prices with own website price in Java and can be used for many websites for a Retailer. Java is better suited instead of PHP and no need for Apache server
