For example landscaping, fencing, kitchen or interior remodeling, paving etc The company must have an existing website which is in obvious need of a re-design. Your job is to create a new professional site (using Worpress) that will impact the market and leap-frog your client ahead of the competition THEME REQUIREMENTS You can choose from the following templates: Pinboard [login to view URL] Cusomizr [login to view URL] Be sure to: Change things like font, font color, heading colours and backgrounds, body image, etc Best practices for SEO are to be followed - use the supplied meta information boxes (in wordpress) for your pages and articles Interesting use of css3 (2 examples minimum - list the css3 you added in a word document submitted with the project) There must be at least 2 users each with a different level of access All user information -Including admin) must be submitted in a word doc and submitted in the final zip) There must be a front end login module CONTENT REQUIREMENTS Three page minimum (as listed below) but other pages can be added Redesigned logo/ word mark Images (examples of work etc) can be taken from the site but in many cases the quality is not acceptable - replacement images can be found on the web and stock photography Copy must be original (from the site) but can be augmented with related text taken from elsewhere There must be an introductory page /area with could include such topics as history, size of company, principal employes or founders etc There must be a contact page with 2 (minimum) contacts There must be a "services" area / page describing the services they provide There must be a interactive gallery of their work / products Add items such as testimonials area, latest news, search function and any other relevant modules that would enhance the users experience DESIGN You will be marked on: The design of the site - professional - informative - is it a site consumers would contact The visual impact of the site The quality of ads images and copy Interesting techniques and effects that enhance the site. The technical quality of the wordpress aspects (do the extensions work as expected) NOTE: In the footer you must link to the original site and and the original template (the actual template page not just the site where you found it) Do not contact the company for information etc - this is strictly for educational purposes
