We’re having some issues with our really slow Wordpress site. Our initial tests signals very slow "first byte”-rate, which, according to our web host, indicates some PHP structural weaknesses or issues. Our host further notice the large number of resources being loaded. For example 90-100 Javascript files, as they recommend that you merge together, to make them fewer. Also there is some JacaScripts loading multiple times, which seems unnecessary. They also point out some external resources (Linkedin, Facebook, fonts), and that they recommend we script functions to fetch it externally, but cache it locally. We wish to get our hands on a list of all scripts, functions, plugs-ins or whatever that currently are making the site slow, and then choose from suggestions on solutions. Also find out about possible errors or compatibility problems caused by the theme. We are aware of that basic optimization such as further image compression and embedding of videos etc also needs to be done, and are a part of the whole picture here. Need help solving the problem and optimizing speed.
