Skittles Hello there, I reviewed the requirements brief and must inform you that I did almost a similar project called 'Instant Decisioning' during my work with AmEx Merchant Financing Business. That was for merchant lending business and I reviewed your form and looks like it is for Residential Lending business. This system used to automatically decide (based on rules) whether the loan application could be accepted/rejected/sent for manual review. You may see this in action on their merchant financing portal. Since space here is very limited, I will give you an overview of how this could be done. Please drop a message to me to discuss the details. So, your form is already built in PHP so it makes most sense to create the scripts again in PHP to store the data in database. Now, say for example the customer fills the form and hits Submit, we could run the data through a 'rules engine' similar to your spreadsheet and immediately let them know (or send email also) if their application was accepted/rejected/sent for manual review. Based on my work on the ID project, I can assure you that I know exactly how this database/portal needs to be created and can assure you of excellent quality work. Either success, to be reviewed or rejected, both user and you will receive an email. Something we need to discuss is the "acceptance". Perhaps you need to consider to do "human review" for accepted proposal as well. But, it's up to you. I will need your excel file where semiautomatic calculation usually be done. I may need to discuss thoroughly to accomplish perfect calculation. In addition, I will design the database such a way so we can easily use it for other related purpose in the future. Skittles Hi, I am Nallakumar. I have more than 9 years of experience in Outlook AddIns. My proposed solution for this is to create an Outlook AddIn. That addin will handle the mail received event and check for emails with the given Subject and process the Excel calculation for the inputs given in the mail and store the approval status in the Database and send the same to the customer. Pros: 1. Easy to use the Excel VBA calculation, as we can use VB .NET to create the AddIn. 2. No need to touch your PHP application. We even need to touch the backend database only to same the details. (accept/reject info and if required the inputs in the email for future purpose). 3. Later, if required we can make the system Semi-Automatic (We can send accepted message automatically. For rejected messages, we can just mark the mails in Outlook and also place the Excel Output at the bottom and allow an operator the decide weather to reject it or any appropriate actions, by providing options on the Outlook ribbon for those mails). Cons: 1. We need an outlook instance opened for the addin to run.

I understand you want all the data input from the borrowers going into a database, and then the calculations in your excel sheet to be done in PHP instead of excel (or any other programming language). Skittles Hello, I can create the form for you in about 2 days. Are there any criteria, like can the users with the same email ask for a loan twice within X number of days? I would build this using AJAX so the page would not have to refresh and the user would know immediately. All inquires would be saved securely to a MySQL database, that is backed up, along with the loan verdict, which could also be exported to excel for you to view. Being a professional .Net Outlook Add-in developer, I can develop an Outlook component which will parse the incoming email from a specific address, extract the details from it and insert it into a database.
