Send me your work website links Motion Array is looking for a senior, experienced Wordpress developer who is fully familiar with Wordpress, its Codex and its quirks, and has experience working in a rapid PHP development team. Candidates should have experience with build/deployment processes across multiple environments: development, staging, QA, production, and should strive to create clean, quality, maintainable code. Our Wordpress system communicates with our API servers to receive information and display on Wordpress, and is used by the marketing team to publish content frequently. Performance, elegance, reliability, and SEO are vital factors in our Wordpress system. Requirements: Strong foundational skills: HTML/CSS/JS Experience in PHP and MySQL Developing WordPress plugins, themes, and child themes Familiarity with creating and maintaining a clean and well-organized code in a Wordpress project Develop solutions optimized for speed (plus caching) for high traffic websites Git + Github Vue.js familiarity Familiarity Webpack or Gulp or Grunt Wordpress REST API development Wordpress Blue/Green deployment Basic UI/UX design Scrum workflow familiarity Nice to Haves: Familiarity with Laravel (Symfony is a plus) Familiarity with Redis and Nginx The position is either full time (8 hours a day with no other commitments) or half-time (4 hours a day). Our team is fully remote, but our work timezone is EST (GMT-5). You will be joining a team of 20+ people, but you will be the point person for handling all Wordpress related development tasks.
