We would like to create new functionality in the portfolio section of our WordPress website - utilizing a "Custom Button." My name is Seth Brandhagen; I'm an Account Executive at Advanced Media, where we specialize in Video Production. We are seeking a Developer with Wordpress experience and custom functionality expertise. We would like to add a button to each image in our "lightbox portfolio" in its roll-over state that says "Story" or perhaps is just an "icon" - that would not affect the lightbox functionality. This button would redirect the user to a unique video page (specific to each video) with a page URL we can share with our clients - just like a regular WordPress page. Note: all of our portfolio lightbox's currently have a Youtube URL already attached to them (we would like this functionality to remain). As stated before we just need an additional URL linked to a "custom button" that appears in the "roll-over state" of each lightbox image/portfolio. Please let me know if this functionality is possible in your experience. Hi, I have done some work in the debugger on your website already, I understand the issues with attempting to do what you want. I am confident that I can achieve this for you. Adding a <a href=""> inside the existing <a href=""> will not work and is a very hacky solution. Therefore I plan to inject the markup required into the contains where required. There is 1 proviso regarding the URL you want to add to each button for each story, I need give you some form of input to allow you to enter that unless it already exists. Where are you entering the YouTube video currently in the WordPress dashboard? This is a task in itself, therefore I have allowed additional budget for this.
