I will be able to help you with HTTPs. Acquiring https will require ssl certificate which you need to buy to support for year. Free ssl certificate providers only support for three months. I have set it up couple of sites with nginx. We can discuss on that if you interested about setting up https. Bid amount is not concern here.

I have worked on a lot of projects and have changed the themes multiple times and have added ssl certificate to the site too so will be able to do that in a weeks time with testing.
