GRASS GIS has a tool called [login to view URL] - [login to view URL] This tool also available in QGIS. We would like to use this tool as part of a Python script, so we need to convert this tool to be written in Python. The code basically takes a raster (2D matrix) and outputs a raster 2D raster where each pixel has a new value assigned by the [login to view URL] tool. We can run this tool in QGIS so we have known inputs and expected outputs. The code should work on Python 3.x and work on Windows and Linux. Deliverables Python code that implements GRASS GIS [login to view URL] tool. Evaluation of this project will be based on similar results between our input-output using QGIS to the input-output in the expected Python code.
