Developer Wanted for Python Framework (Backtrader) Trading Project

I am looking to build a relationship with a developer to help build our a new web trading application based on the Python framework backtrader ([login to view URL]) utilising the OANDA broker add-on built into backtrader ([login to view URL]). I will be looking to build and backtest potentially hundreds of strategies, however this first job will be to build and backtest a single strategy using the backtrader framework. PLEASE read these instructions carefully - I will only be considering you if you qualify for all of the below. My requirements for the chosen developer: 1. Python experience 2. Trading application / scripting experience (so I don't need to explain the basics of trading) 3. Experience with backtrader or another trading coding framework you can backup with example project and ideally some example code 4. Pass the test below Essentially I'm after someone who has Python and Trading experience and who is willing to complete the test task below to verify their skills. THE TEST - FOR YOU TOCOMPLETE AND SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS To pass this test you need to be familiar with the backtrader framework OR put in some research to show me you have the skills to work with me longer term. In order to pass this test you need to build and backtest a basic strategy using the backtrader framework connected to a FREE demo broker account with OANDA. Steps: 1. Create OANDA demo account ([login to view URL]) 2. Set up backtrader framework and connect it to your OANDA account 3. Create a simple strategy on EURUSD forex market: buy when the price crosses above the 50 Simple Moving Average (SMA) and sell when the price crosses below the 50 Simple Moving Average (SMA) 4. Backtest this on 3 years of data: 1/1/2017 to 31/12/2020 Provide your results to me: A) Your .py strategy file (you can send this to me in chat) B) The .py file to run the backtest C) Your backtest results (you can copy and paste them to me in chat) Please note that I know what to expect from this task as I have completed this myself already.
