A US-based startup is seeking to recruit web development engineers to join our team in Chennai, India.
We are seeking experienced HR professional to administer a search process that will include the following steps:
1. Screen incoming resumes in accordance with our position requirements;
2. Request selected candidates to take online tests with independent company to determine their level of English, professional competence, and personality.
4. Schedule online interviews with candidates who have passed those tests with a product manager in the United States;
5. If successful, schedule online or in-person interview with our project leader in Chennai.
6. Verify educational background and employment history of programmers who have passed in-person interviews.
We anticipate receiving 500 to 600 resumes, expect screening them down to 30 to 40 pre-test candidates, and plant to interview at least 10 post-test candidates for each hire.
We are planning to recruit from 15 to 20 engineers over the next 12 month.
If you are successful at completing this assignment, it may turn into a long-term engagement and, potentially, a full-time job with our company.
I worked as Project Manager for my current employer which was a recruiting project. I recruited 4-5 technicians per market within 10 markets around the country within 2 months. I also Nurtured them through the process of obtaining 6 Dell certifications, a drug test, and background check. By posting ads on job boards such as Indeed, Craigslist, and LinkedIn I sourced, screened, selected and onboarded qualified technical candidates for work.
