Literature review

Topic: Attachment Based Therapy The literature review should provide an overview on a counselling theory as chosen by the student. The literature review should be 7 pages(double spacing) in length. The review should include the theoretical definition, strengths and weaknesses, populations it may be best used for, supporting evidence and any relevant information that is specific to your chosen theory The goals of this assignment are: -Familiarize and develop knowledge specific to an identified theory (i.e., CBT, Solution Focused, Narrative, etc.). -Familiarize the student with the process of therapy within their chosen identified theory. -The paper should be specific to social work and counselling. -This paper should demonstrate a critical exploration of the topic and clear situate the use of this theory in the field of social work. Marking Guidelines for the Literature Review are as followed: -Clearly provide the theoretical definition of the identified theory. -Synthesize literature and research on the chosen theory in the context of counselling and social work. -Include at least 10-12 sources. -Be organized in a clear and logical manner, illustrating previous work to date related to the topic. -Include a reference list. -Proper APA Format.
