What do I mean by writter / collector ?

I mean someone who can quickly compile a number of content sources on a topic. And can see patterns and link content, graphically and conceptually.

So you are smart, you are sensible, and you see things in a way others do not.

and you are INTERESTED IN NON-MAINSTREAM content.

That is all that is required.

As a bonus:

you have experience watching youtube,

don't watch cable television,

have a live long love of mysterious topics or topics that would crumble the mainstream.
