Application Start move and Restart incl. check of process

Dear all,

I am looking for a person who can support us with the following task.

Description of situation and work:

To be able to do maintenance on a Windows Server, that has an application that need to be reachable 24/7, we want to do the following, with a minimum of interruption (aprox. 10 min.):

1. Stop Application Service on productive Windows Server.

2. Copy Database to a second Windows Server. (This is just a file copy)

3. Start Application Service on the second Server.

4. Check if Service is running and send an eMail and write in a simple log file (failed / success)

"Script" app schould be as simple that we can change to any other Service to Stop and Start. (this can be done in a config file)

The same is the case for the Database files (individual amount of files and where to copy to)

And the same for the Log file and email. (were the Log file should be stored and where to send the mail to)

Productive and second Server are allready available. I am thinking of using

a script that can be run manually at any time or via windows sheduler at a certain time.
