I am an Excel developer with over 15 years professional experience writing custom VBA solutions and I am highly experienced in automation of data processing and have developed multuple similar solutions throughout my career. After reading the job I hope you don't mind if I ask you some questions - 1. Once the data has been read into the 'main' file would you like the files in the folder moved to an archive / processed location? 2. Is the first workbook to also be sorted alphabetically? Or is it only the subsequent workbooks? 3. Is there a particular order that the books should be processed in? If so, how is this determined (e.g. it may be obvious based on file name, date created / modified etc.)? 4. You mentioned other workbooks exist in the folder, but only Excel workbooks should be copied - are you able to clarify this a little further (e.g. is it that other files exist and only Excel files copied, or is it that other workbooks exist but only workbooks with the same structure should be copied)? All of the above is achievable - however I like to work with a clear spec to meet expectations and I would love to work with you on this project
