I have a project is being migrated from a WinNT x86 SP4 environment to a Win7+ environment. The application has been recompiled under VS2017 with no errors, but the applications GUI display is not correct. The edges of various objects (control panel, buttons, etc) are extending beyond limits and some parts missing. This project has already been migrated into a Windows 7 environment before, but I no longer have the source files or contact with that party. I know this is a feasible project. I can provide snapshots of the application running under WinNT and Win7 to demonstrate the differences...I am certain this has to do with the MFC Active X , OCX Properties or related

you are talking about old MFC classes and activex controls, how they applied to projects that built in new version. resources(fonts/layout/...) is the problem, i know how to edit resources.
