Golang microservice development

Hi, there! How are you? Well... Why my price is the lowest? I don't have any Golang experience - and have a real problem to solve is the best way to get in. :) I've been working as a full-time Python developer for the last 4 years - working with Docker, microservices (Swagger), MongoDB, AWS, etc. Before that, I was a hardware and firmware developer - so I have C background (and already written some MySQL UDFs some time ago, which can be useful sometimes). I would create two tables contests and winners where every winner would reference to contestID. I would build two binaries (source code in Golang). One is http server (for CRUD) and other is crontab to check that contest has finished and would publish to broker. Seems like fairly straightforward solution.
