Looking to build a script/tool that does three simple things: 1. It tells me simple computer stats (such as CPU, process names, ram stats, etc) 2. Does netstat call then checks APIs for like virustotal or competitor, to see if its talking to flagged IP Preferably/Optional: 3. Patch level of machine, or if its not updating (maybe a simple call to winapi for this information) I need the tool to be able to then do the following: 1. Take that information and make it into simple text document 2. Dump that text document in a share drive or email it to me Open to having this done in different technologies. Python, C, C++, etc. If python or other scripting language, hoping to build into stand alone executable (py2exe, etc).

Hello, The requirements, in general, look quite clear and straightforward to implement. Though, I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. What is the exact netstat call that should be run, any specific argument? If I'm not mistaken the tool will get the connected ips and check these through virustotal to find out if there's any offending ones among them. What exactly you mean with patch level? Is this something related to build/release id? Something like Windows 10 version 1234 maybe. Is this supposed to be cross platform or just for Windows? Depending on cross platform requirement I might either use c# or python. In any case, once the above points are cleared I expect this to take 5 days at most, thanks.
