I've about 12+ years of experience in Cobol + Db2 Development. I've worked across the globe with various clients like Reserve Bank of India [RBI is the controller for Banking Systems in India], Abbey National Bank/Santander Group Plc [UK], Danske Bank [Denmark], Wal-Mart [US], Chrysler [US] and Citibank [Singapore].

As well as over 7 years technical experience with Mainframe (Z/OS, PACBASE, COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS/DB-DC, BMP), I also have experience in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP for SAP). For a previous client I was involved in a project that consists in the pooling of the banking production for two of biggest banks in France, and also for their sub-participants. This approach induces functional upgrades of the initial producing system in order to meet the specific requirements. These requirements correspond to functional differences or upgrades. The applications are standard batch programs, BMP’s and transactions mainly treating the use of credit cards. In this project, i've been resposible of: direct management of all projects I’ve been involved in, analysis and correction of detailed functional specifications received from the client, writing technical documentation of projects, supervision of developments, creating test cases and developing unitary test scenarios, writing of integration documents, finding solutions for technical difficulties and reported anomalies, daily and monthly project reports, direct communication (by mail or phone) with project leaders in France and training of beginner programmers in the project. However, the project has given me an excellent understanding of the principles involved in financing / banking area. I believe I would be in a good position to analyse your requirements and advice on the best manner of proceeding.
