Need a SQLDBA to help solve a issue with our SAP app • We are having locks when we run a program called Data Transfer WorkBench. The Wait types that we are getting are: LCK_M_U, LCK_M_S, LCK_M_RS_U,LCK_M_IS. What means this locks? And, Can we avoid this or reduce the time of the lock? Because this lock to all users in SAP B1, until the Data transfer finish. • We are getting some locks that one process is blocking itself, the wait types are: CXPACKET, ASYNC_NETWORK_IO. Why Happens this? • How can we do the maintenance of the databases? for example LDF file. Can be automatic with a job? • Can you do a tuning of the configurations in the database server for improve the performance of the service? For example the CTFP param isn’t tuned, it is the standard and this could affect the CXPACKET lock. I attached a file with the screenshots of sql with the locks.
