core,cavity splitting in solid works

I am Irish, who is living in Philippines I have a lot of experience in structural & mechanical design. I am capable of using packages such as Tekla Structures, Inventor, 3Dmax, Navisworks,Solidworks and AutoCAD. My experience in previous jobs has involved Mechanical machine design for mining and plant processes and fabrication drawings so that projects can be carried out to the highest possible Local standards. Hi I am a Design Engineer with over 30 years on plastic injection mould tools. I have using CAD to split cores/cavities from the moulded part for almost 20 years. I have been using Solidworks for over 12 years to design mould tools. I can do simple spits up to complex split-lines around the part. Les Orton

I work in the centrifugal pump industry designing pump components so I am very familiar with the pattern making and casting process. I regularly visit pattern shops for projects so I have a very good understanding of cores and how tooling makes a casting.
