Looking to have existing 3d model (.stl) slightly altered- hollowed out and split into 2 joining parts Model is of a foot prosthetic, parts need to be foot and the leg support. The leg support has a holding piece inside it that needs to be simplified or removed, so that the base is completely hollow. Should be very easy, looking to have this done asap and quickly.

I have years of experience in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks), and currently have Inventor installed on my computer ready to go to work! As a mechanical Design Engineer, one of my daily tasks way to model robotic assemblies, which required many small parts from various vendors. Some vendors supplied models (sat, iges, stp, stl) and some did not. I have experience importing various file formats and modifying them for use, as well as modeling parts from scratch. Unfortunately you can't edit an STL file. They have no working elements. Bodies. surfaces, curves etc... They are simply triangular facets used for graphics & rapid prototyping purposes. The changes need to be done to the original CAD models or they need to be recreated. Regards, Simon
