Cleanup and Optimize STL files for 3D Printing and Design several New STLs

There is a set of STL files on Thingiverse for a chess set that I would like to have redesigned a bit. Things on the todo list would be as follows: 1. Clean up a bit more and optimize to 3D Print without the need of supports. So far these all print pretty well without supports except for under the chin. 2. Smooth out the designs since you can still see the polygons when printed. I am hoping this can be smoothed out much, much more. 3. Adjust the heights of the chess pieces to more accurately resemble a proper chess set. The King should be tallest, then the Queen, then Bishop, then Knight and Rook (same size to each other), then the Pawn is the smallest. a. The King is good as far as height. Maybe add a walking cane and maybe a cape so he looks like a Pimp. b. The Queen will be just a bit shorter than the King. This one will need a complete redesign I think. I want this to be changed to a woman. She should still look like a ganster in baggy clothes - not like a hooker. Maybe make the shoulders and body frame a bit more narrow, add a bigger chest and butt. Maybe add a ponytail coming out from under the crown in the back and that should get the desired effect. c. The Bishop can be a little shorter than the Queen and also possibly skinner. Like a thin, lanky man. d. The Knight can be shorter than the Bishop but normal weight. e. The Rook can be same height as the Knight but maybe a little fatter or chubbier man. Maybe a bit of a rounder belly. f. The Pawn looks good as far as height. I was thinking this Pawn as it is now just looks like a shrunken version of the rest. Instead, maybe try to make it look like a younger version. If the head size is increased just a bit, it might look more like a child ganster. I think making the pawn slook like a child version of the rest would make sense. I will be printing this set for myself and for a gift for a friend, so please bid accordingly. This is a just for fun project and is not a commercial thing.
