Reverse engineering of a scanned 3D model into a 3D CAD drawing, preferrably with SOLIDWORKS

I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - as you know, the scanned files (most probably stl) are not editable, thus the model(s) will should be recreated 2 - besides the scans, i will also need some indications, dimensions and eventually drawings - due to the "noise" while scanning, the results are not quite so accurate and could be difficult to retrieve the dimensions (or even some small details/features) - but i'm sure we will figure out :) btw - you are aware the price could be adjusted accordingly with the complexity and the workflow..., right?
